Fall is in the air!

Cooler weather has finally arrived here in the desert South West and we are loving it!  Winter lawns are going in and all around town you will see our burlap squares being used to collect grass clippings.  These 80" x 80" squares of burlap are handy for all kinds of landscape jobs. Well actually, it was a rocket!  If you were an early bird in the Phoenix area today, you might have caught sight of the rocket launch from White Sands Missile base in New Mexico.  It had nothing to do with Arizona Bag - although we have sold them sand bags - but it certainly had us all talking this morning!

Today is the official start of the Arizona Monsoon Season.  In years past, humidity levels and wind direction determined the start, but in order to focus on the dangers Mother Nature brings this time of year, and to help us be prepared, the official start is now declared as June 15th.
